The director will send you your assignments and will moderate the game. When you eliminate a player, you must inform the director. If you witness an elimination, you can inform the director and the elimination will not count. This person will then be assigned to you as an additional targets.
Text your elimination or witness to the director: 203 521 7254. Please state your name when you text the first time.
Any updates on rule changes (such as more chances for points) will be posted by the director on the Facebook page.
The director can assassinate you for points, but you won't be counted as eliminated.
You may request a code name, or ask one be made for you. It must have something to do with music. Here is a list of musical terms for inspiration.
Try not to reveal information about the game. Eliminated players will be notified the code name of the player that eliminated them. For this reason, if you request a code name, do not make it obvious it is you. No profanity in the code names. The leader-board will only show code-names. Codes-names will be revealed at the end of the game.
AKA - DO NOT TELL PEOPLE YOUR CODE NAME
Why are code names important? Assignments may be posted here, thus revealing to the target who their assassin is, resulting in a more difficult time for the assassin. For example: Week One Assignment | Assassin: Major Fourth Target: Brother Jenna Racz
Your code-name is your identity. Do not reveal yourself.
You will be emailed or texted your assigned target. You may gain a target if you witness them assassinating someone else, and you notify the director. You may also gain a target if another player is put on the Wanted List, and you are assigned as an extra assassin.
You may eliminate your target by placing a clothes pin on an article of clothing. This does not include backpacks or bags. It must be an article of clothing that they are wearing directly without the target's knowledge. A photo should be taken once you make the target aware they are dead. The target must pose for the picture.
In addition, no one else should witness the assassination. If someone witnesses the assassination and chooses to tell the director, your kill will not count and you'll have to do it again.
Once eliminated you will be notified who has killed you.
Witnessing an Elimination and Bribery:
If someone witnesses your assassination, they do not have to report you. If you are caught, you can bribe the witness by volunteering to eliminate their target for them. They do not have to accept this bribe, or may go back on the agreement if they feel you are not making a real effort to make their elimination.
The game will be played until the last chapter before finals and the winner will be announced. The Social Committee will recap how the week went. Everyone will re-spawn at the end of each Sunday Chapter.
Eliminating your target will award you 5 points.
Witnessing an elimination and reporting it will award you 3 points.
Surviving the week will award you 5 points.
Eliminating a player on the wanted list will award you 10 points.
Eliminating another assassin's target for them (for bribery) will award you 0 points.
Having someone eliminate your target for you (for bribery) will award you no extra points, but the regular 5 points.

If someone breaks the rules, or tries to gain points by hiding and not being killed, they may be put on a wanted list. This means they may receive extra assassins to eliminate them. The director may place a high ranked player on the wanted list to provide chances for lower ranked or dead assassins to gain points, and to keep the game exciting.
